Level-Up: Action, Action, Action...
Ideation without execution is a ridiculous delusion.
Hello Friends,
No matter how long we think, brainstorm, or ideate, unless we take action, nothing moves. Even the law of attraction takes some actions from our side to make it a reality.
The smallest of action is so much better than the noblest of intentions.
What brings results are the consistent small actions instead of just one BIG action. Break the actions into small chunks that are easy to take, don’t overwhelm us, or don’t make us tired, and can be done quickly.
Evening Routine
Yesterday, I mentioned my morning routine, today we will cover the evening routine. Evening routines are very important to make sure morning routines work as per plan. To wake up early, we have the plan out the previous evening accordingly.
For the evening routine, I follow reverse planning. Below is just an example. I keep it flexible according to the work priorities.
Sample Evening Routine
Sleep: 11:00 PM (6 hours before the morning wake up time)
Digital detox: 10:30 PM (switch off TV, leave mobile aside)
Journaling: 10:00 PM (write down your thoughts/learnings from the day)
Next day planning: 9:30 PM
I do not follow a hard strict routine, because it creates anxiety in the mind and a fear of losing out on commitments. I generally take the routine as a guide and keep enough flexibility to accommodate the uniqueness of each day.
